Mobility Considerations for Clients in Response to COVID-19

Published: Friday, March 13, 2020
Kathy Burrows

The rapid spread of the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) is significantly affecting mobility and, as a result, the demands on organizations regarding mobility-related practices. In an effort to assist our clients during this difficult time, SIRVA has created a helpful paper, Mobility Program Considerations for Clients in the World of COVID-19, which discusses the challenges companies should expect in response to the virus and suggests actions for minimizing its impact.

As the impact and effects of COVID-19 on mobility are likely to remain mercurial, SIRVA will continue to monitor and report pertinent information, and provide guidance around this important topic as it relates to relocation management.

In the meantime, SIRVA encourages organizations to collaborate with their account managers and internal organizational functions to navigate the complexities and concerns surrounding the COVID-19 impact on mobility support.

In addition to our paper, pertinent information and valuable resources can be found on the websites of the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization
