    • Travelers entering the Azores must complete an online questionnaire before travel at the site below (3); carry a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued no more than 72 hours prior to departure (exceptions listed below (4)); complete a COVID-19 test upon arrival and self-quarantine until they are notified of the result; if staying seven or more days, travelers complete another COVID-19 test on the sixth day of stay

    - Travelers visiting close family (spouses and family in the first degree), resident in Portugal;
    - Travel for international freight transport, transport of cross-border workers and seasonal workers with documented employment relationship;
    - Travel by emergency and relief vehicles and emergency services;
    - Transiting travelers; and
    - Travel for study, health or humanitarian reasons (documentation is required).
