  • • Negative COVID-19 test (in Polish or English), performed within 48 hours before entry, for all travelers entering from a Schengen Area country by air; alternatively, these travelers complete 10-day quarantine

    • 10-day quarantine for the following categories:
    - Travelers entering from a Schengen Area country by land, sea, or rail
    - Travelers from non-Schengen Area countries

    • The following categories are exempt from the requirement to carry a negative COVID-19 test, and are quarantine exempt:
    - Vaccinated travelers, carrying confirmation of vaccination by an EU-approved vaccine
    - Recovered travelers, carrying confirmation of infection and recovery in the 6 months before entry
    - Those travelling from within the EU for work purposes
    - Cross-border workers entering from a Schengen country
    - Essential workers as defined on the site below (1)
    - Civilian workers of allied forces (for example SOFA contractors)
    - Teachers entering for vaccination, carrying a vaccination referral for vaccination within 90 days of entry
    - Travelers for study purposes: enrolled in Polish kindergartens, schools (and their legal guardians) or universities; or kindergartens, school,s or universities in neighboring countries; those taking eighth-grade exams, high school exams (Matura), exams confirming occupational or vocational qualifications (and their guardians); entrants should carry proof of exams

    • Travelers can reduce quarantine by obtaining a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of entry; travelers can cease quarantine once the laboratory enters the negative test results in the appropriate system

  • • Consular posts are reopening in several countries, subject to local pandemic-related restrictions

    • Immigration offices and city halls are resuming services, but appointment availability remains limited due to safety measures and accumulated case backlog; applicants can continue to submit immigration applications by mail, and address registration applications online; mailed applications take an additional three to four months to process Travel Restrictions

    • Poland is easing entry restrictions; the following categories of individuals may now enter:
    - Travelers from EU, European Economic Area and Schengen Area countries;
    - Travelers from Qatar, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates;
    - Polish nationals, their spouses, children and children under their care;
    - EU nationals, European Economic Area nationals, Swiss and UK nationals and their spouses;
    - EU/EEA/UK residence permit holders and their family members in transit to their residence;
    - Nationals or residents of the following countries (even if they are not travelling from these countries): Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia;
    - Holders of a Pole Card;
    - Holders of permanent or temporary residence rights;
    - Guardians of children enrolled in Polish schools; the guardian must travel with the children and a confirmation of the school enrolment is required (scanned copy will suffice);
    - Work permit exempt travelers (e.g., graduates from Polish higher education, students);
    - Holders of a work permit, including a seasonal or short-term work permit;
    - Those employed in transport of persons or goods performing their professional activities and international transport drivers in transit;
    - Holders of national visa for repatriation or holders of national visa for family member of family of a repatriated person; “repatriated person” status can be gained based on Polish roots;
    - Athletes, journalist and staff travelling for international sport events in Poland;
    - Passengers on flights from Ukraine and Russia (who are subject to quarantine);
    - Belorussian nationals, under a special government program; and
    - Those in other special circumstances, with consent of the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Border Guard
