  • COVID-19 Testing Requirements Vaccinated or Recovered Travelers Travelers are not required to carry a negative test, but may avoid quarantine if carrying a negative COVID-19 test (in Polish or English) taken no more than 24 hours before entry. Vaccinated and recovered travelers must carry proof of vaccination or recovery. Vaccinated travelers must be vaccinated with a European Medicines Agency-approved vaccine (listed with the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH)) at least 14 days before travel. Recovered travelers must carry confirmation of infection and recovery in the 6 months before entry (in English or Polish). Non-vaccinated Travelers Travelers are not required to carry a negative test, but may avoid quarantine if carrying a negative COVID-19 test (in Polish or English): For travelers from Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Turkey and Vatican City (Holy See): a COVID-19 test taken no more than 24 hours before entry or within 3 hours after entry at a Polish airport. For travelers from an EU/Schengen Area country, or whose last stretch of travel passed through an EU/Schengen Area country: a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before entry. The following travelers are test exempt: Children under 12 years, traveling under the supervision of airline staff. Cross-border workers entering from a Schengen country; essential workers; civilian workers of allied forces (for example, SOFA contractors); Eligible students and schoolchildren; and Passengers transiting for less than 24 hours, carrying an onward plane ticket. Ukrainian nationals and residents leaving Ukraine are not subject to COVID-19 document requirements, i.e., do not have to carry proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test. Quarantine Requirements Vaccinated or Recovered Travelers 7-day quarantine, except for: Travelers from EU/Schengen Area countries or Turkey, including travelers whose last stretch of travel is through the EU/Schengen Area; Travelers from other countries carrying a negative COVID-19 test (in Polish or English) taken no more than 24 hours before entry; Children under 5; Eligible schoolchildren, students and their accompanying guardians; Transport staff travelling for professional purposes. Non-vaccinated Travelers 7-day quarantine, except for: Travelers from Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Turkey and Vatican City (Holy See), carrying a COVID-19 test taken no more than 24 hours before entry or within 3 hours after entry at a Polish airport; Travelers from an EU/Schengen Area country, or whose last stretch of travel passed through an EU/Schengen Area country, carrying a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before entry; Children under 12 years, traveling under the supervision of airline staff.   • Government officials are working normally. Consular posts are reopening in several countries, subject to local pandemic-related restrictions. Immigration offices and city halls are resuming services, but appointment availability remains limited due to safety measures and accumulated case backlog. Applicants can continue to submit immigration applications by mail, and address registration applications online. Mailed applications take an additional three to four months to process. Travel Restrictions Entry directly from Russia or Belarus is only permitted for Belarus citizens, and for exempted categories. Other travelers are permitted entry without restrictions. Border checks have been lifted.
