At SIRVA, we know the relocation process doesn’t end when an assignee’s moving boxes are unpacked. That’s why we walk hand-in-hand with assignees throughout their assignment – touch-base, assist with benefit questions and ensure they are becoming assimilated into their host country.
SIRVA maintains constant contact with assignees throughout the term of every relocation, checking in on a regular basis to:
- Ensure that all assignee needs are met
- Update assignees on policy changes
- Keep assignees current on their benefits and the procedures they need to follow
Cultural training helps assignees assimilate into their host countries so they can better relate to their new co-workers, and navigate daily life in a foreign culture.
- Group or one-on-one cultural training available
- Sessions can be done in home or host location and pre- and post-departure
- Training is focused on assisting the assignee to meet the business objectives of the assignment and help the assignee and family integrate into the new environment
SIRVA can arrange appropriate language lessons to help assignees communicate with co-workers and others in their host country. Classroom, on-on-one or online immersion language lessons are available.
SIRVA works on behalf of our clients and assignees to handle all issues related to rental property tenancy and address any unusual housing requirements. Tenancy management service may include facilitating rent payments, managing telephone charges including equipment rental, utility payments, local property taxes, any property management charges and more.
SIRVA makes it simple for assignees to track and submit their expenses accurately, and to receive reimbursements quickly.
