Your Consultation
You will be contacted at the time of your scheduled appointment. During this consultation, your loan counselor will help you complete your application, guide you through the entire pre-approval process, provide counseling about various loan programs and help you to determine your purchasing power. This will ensure that you are fully prepared for your home finding trip to your new location. Plus, since we are a part of SIRVA, the company coordinating your relocation services, we are experts in relocation lending, and we will ensure your loan program integrates with your company's relocation policy.
Lastly, your loan counselor will walk you through what to expect in each stage of the process, from application to signing your loan documents at closing. And when you're ready, help you select the best product and lock your interest rate.

Processing Your Application | |
Once your loan application is completed, your loan processor will collect and analyze your documentation so that your loan is processed and can be reviewed for approval. With your initial loan package you will receive a checklist of the items your processor may need to confirm your information and to get your loan reviewed. In addition, the loan processor will order and review an appraisal of your new home.
Closing
Once you've been approved and are ready for closing, you will need to have an appointment with your closing agent (typically a title company or closing attorney). Your loan closer will give your loan documents to your closing agent and provide you with the items you will need to bring with you, as well as your final closing figures. Once your appointment with your closing agent has been established, your SIRVA Mortgage closer will work hand-in-hand with your closing agent to provide you with this information in a timely manner so that you can prepare for the closing of your new home.
After Closing
After your loan closes, you should expect to receive the following items in the mail:
- The "Goodbye Letter."
SIRVA Mortgage will assign your loan to one of the nation’s leading servicers. SIRVA Mortgage will notify you of your new servicer in a Goodbye Letter. Included in this letter will be information as to where your first and future mortgage payments can be sent.
- The "Hello Letter."
Your new servicer will also send you a notification of the change. This change will not affect your loan terms in any way. Your loan program cannot change with a change of servicer. Your Hello Letter may also include information on establishing direct payment from your checking/savings account and/or information about online payments for your convenience.
At SIRVA Mortgage, we pride ourselves on providing world-class service to our customers, and therefore rely heavily on customer feedback. At the conclusion of the mortgage process, an independent third-party research firm will be contacting you to conduct a brief phone survey. We encourage you to take the time to provide feedback about your experience with SIRVA Mortgage.
